    Description

South East Thames Society of Anaesthetists (SETSA) organise two meetings a year. This November, East Sussex Healthcare (Conquest Hospital, Hastings and the Eastbourne DGH) are hosting the Autumn meeting at the picturesque Powder Mills Country Hotel, Battle, East Sussex. It will be an exciting day, with a broad range of topical and relevant content (see programme attached). In addition to a full program of lectures, there will be workshops: ultrasound guided paraspinal blocks including erector spinae block delivered by an enthusiast in this field, improving prehabilitation in your hospital by experts from Guy's and St.Thomas', and providing anaesthesia for the opioid dependent patient - a cases centred discussion by pain specialists.

Trainee presentations are welcomed, a chance to present at a regional meeting & a prize for the best presentation. 5 CPD points will be applied for through RCOA. Lunch will be provided as well as hot drinks and refreshments throughout the day.

Please can trainees send abstract submissions for poster & oral presentations to setsaautumn2019@gmail.com no later than Friday 8th November 2019. A shortlist will be sent out that week in time for trainees to prepare selected presentations for the meeting. Prizes will be awarded on the day.
