This is a very popular Two day FUSIC and FAMUS ultrasound course for Intensivist, Acute medicine, Anaesthetics and ED physicians at all level from resident doctors to Consultants. Faculty comprises of accredited FUSIC and FAMUS trainer and all consultant delivered and this course is running for over 10 years.

A One Day Difficult Airway Management Conference

The conference will provide education and practical training in adult, obstetrics and paediatric difficult airway management through the use of advanced airway techniques.  

The conference is open to all healthcare professionals with an interest in management of the difficult airway and advanced airway techniques.

Conference programme includes: 

A comprehensive one-year blended course on essential soft skills for medical and dental professionals of all grades including graduates, FY doctors, Trainees, Specialty/SAS doctors and Consultants.

The programme has 4 parts with 3-month duration each featuring e-learning modules, practical workshops, self-assessment, reflective assignment, assessment and certification. While e-learning courses are offered through our exclusive LMS platform, practical workshops are conducted in person at Keele University.

2-Day Prehospital ECMO Cannulation Course

This course will provide a comprehensive overview of orthopaedic issues commonly encountered in primary care. Mr. Vemulapalli, with 17 years of experience as a consultant, has extensive expertise in teaching and training. His insight into the challenges faced by General Practitioners (GPs) comes from his close relationships with GP colleagues and his wife, who is a GP herself.

This exciting and innovative course is designed to teach you the skills and techniques required to safely carry out Several Regional Blocks and different Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) Skills in the Emergency Department.

The course is designed to provide candidates with practical experience of scanning using state of the art manikins and ultrasound machines. The course is faculty heavy with an average of 3 to 4 candidates to 1 medical facilitator, providing plenty of opportunity for questions and 1-2-1 coaching.

The Nottingham regional anaesthesia team are excited to provide this one-day ultrasound-scanning course. The day will focus on areas covered by ultrasound in regional anaesthesia.

We provide a ‘faculty heavy’ course with a maximum of 3 delegates per station and plenty of hands-on scanning experience. Whether you are new to ultrasound in regional anaesthesia or want to brush up on your knowledge, this should be an enjoyable and informative day to recharge your enthusiasm for regional anaesthesia techniques.
