      Description

      A one-day workshop aimed at anaesthetists in training or anyone keen to improve or refresh their skills in managing the difficult airway.  The day will include some lectures and practical workshops covering a range of topics including: the paediatric airway; the shared airway; tracheostomy issues; fibreoptic scopes, airway exchange catheters and staged extubation techniques; videolaryngoscopy; front of neck access (surgical cricothyroidotomy); simulated scenarios and discussion of difficult cases including contributing human factors. 5 CPD points applied for.

      Cancellation Policy:
      Cancellations will only be refunded (less administrative charge) if notice is received more than 6 weeks before the course date AND an alternative candidate can be found to fill the place. In the unlikely event that the course cannot go ahead due to inadequate numbers, your payment will be refunded in full.
