A One Day Difficult Airway Management Conference

The conference will provide education and practical training in adult, obstetrics and paediatric difficult airway management through the use of advanced airway techniques.  

The conference is open to all healthcare professionals with an interest in management of the difficult airway and advanced airway techniques.

The Nottingham regional anaesthesia team are excited to provide this one-day ultrasound-scanning course. The day will focus on areas covered by ultrasound in regional anaesthesia.

We provide a ‘faculty heavy’ course with a maximum of 3 delegates per station and plenty of hands-on scanning experience. Whether you are new to ultrasound in regional anaesthesia or want to brush up on your knowledge, this should be an enjoyable and informative day to recharge your enthusiasm for regional anaesthesia techniques.

One day face to face obstetric anaesthetic programme open to all anaesthetists in South West Region. We aim to provide educational updates, opportunities for trainee presentations and networking. 

This SLACT course is relevant to anaesthetic consultants, ST5+ grade anaesthetists and SAS anaesthetists. It will provide a comprehensive update on recent advances in areas including Paediatric, Obstetric, Obesity anaesthesia and Pre-habilitation as well as top tips for leadership and management within a department. It will be delivered through a combination of talks and practical sessions including advanced airway management and regional anaesthesia- skills that are invaluable in the role of a consultant general anaesthetist.

Led by a senior consultant anaesthetist currently practising in the UK, this structured online course is designed to help candidates excel in the Final FRCA Structured Oral Examination (SOE).
