This intensive programme is specifically tailored for registrars preparing for the FRCS (Tr & Orth) Part 2 Examination.
The course is structured to optimise clinical exposure and examination readiness. The morning session will consist of a structured practice examination with immediate faculty feedback, while the afternoon session will replicate a full mock examination under exam conditions. Previous participants have reported exposure to approximately 30–40 clinical cases in a single day.
Given the intensive nature of the programme, priority will be afforded to candidates sitting the examination in February. Applicants must provide the following documentation:
Applications should be submitted via the online form, followed by the above documents sent to queensfrcscourse@gmail.com.
The course fee has been set at a minimal rate in recognition of the financial pressures faced by registrars undertaking examinations. Please do not make any payment at the time of application. Selected candidates will be notified and provided with payment instructions by the end of December.
The course is scheduled to take place on the weekend of 17th January at Queens Hospital. Places are strictly limited, and early applications are strongly recommended.
