Dr Gray's International Airway Day is the only Pre-Hospital Advanced Airway Workshop in the North of Scotland that is primarily geared towards Remote and Rural Medicine Fellows, Pre-Hospital Care and Immediate Medical Care practitioners, General Practitioners from the whole UK and even anaesthetic and accident and emergency nursing staff who are wishing to refresh and update their technical skills in the airway management.
This advanced airway workshop provides intensive practical tuitions with supraglottic airway devices, videolaryngoscopes, surgical and needle cricothyrotomy on animal models and manikins, pre-hospital and remote and rural medicine airway-technical skills practised by simulation scenarios with Sim-Manikins and simulation models for adult and paediatric difficult airway. There will be 4 lectures, interactive discussions and over 4 hours of practical hands-on workshop training provided by national and international workshop faculty. Dr Gray’s International Airway Day in Elgin is promoting multi-professional training opportunities in the remote local communities in the North of Scotland. DR GRAY'S AIRWAY DAY DINNER on Saturday evening on 15 September 2018 immediately after the airway workshop together with the whole workshop faculty for further networking will be held at the Sunninghill Hotel in Elgin at 6pm. Dinner is paid by everybody individually at the hotel. We will only need to know the number of people interested to attend the dinner in order to make the reservation.
