Enhancing Maternal Care Study Day
This study day equips participants, midwives , postoperative care nurses and ODPs with key skills in maternal postoperative care, covering airway management, CO₂ monitoring, cardiovascular and respiratory complications, and safe recovery practices. The program combines expert teaching, hands-on learning, and simulation to enhance confidence and competence in clinical practice.

This study day is part of the TAP Academy Recovery Foundation Programme.  A programme contains 4 study days spread across 4 months repeating through the year.

The four study days of the programme are

1 Understanding Anaesthesia , 

2 Airway management ,

3 Cardiovascular and

4 Safe recovery

This session provides a comprehensive overview of safe recovery and discharge guidelines and  Nontechnical skills in the post-operative care unit.
