Description

Practical Transoesophageal Echocardiography Course:

1 day hands-on course aimed at Cardiology registrars, Anaesthetic registrars and Cardiac physiologists

Morning lectures:

• Safe sedation

• Probe introduction and minimum dataset guidelines

• Common pathology

Afternoon practical sessions:

• Hands-on TOE using HeartWorks® simulators

• Post processing on Philips workstations and EPIQ CVx ultrasound system
