This intensive 2-day course is designed for advanced prehospital and critical care providers seeking to develop the knowledge and hands-on skills necessary for initiating extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) in the field. Through a combination of expert-led discussions, high-fidelity simulations, and practical workshops, participants will learn the indications, techniques, and team dynamics involved in prehospital ECMO cannulation. Emphasis is placed on safe, efficient cannulation under austere conditions, clinical decision-making, and integration into existing emergency systems.
