Obstetric course aimed at Novices to CT3 level in anaesthetics or anaesthetists who want a refresher in obstetric anaesthetics. The course aims to provide a basic understanding of obstetric anaesthetics. It covers key topics for Novices and people taking the Primary FRCA exam. This one-day course consists of a mixture of lectures and clinical skills stations. Nosworthy Lecture Theatre, Anaesthetic Department, 1st floor, East Wing, St. Thomas’ Hospital.Starting at 8.15 am - all day

A course designed with interactive seminars on topics vital to obtaining the IACOA with hands-on workshops and simulation. This course covers essential knowledge of core obstetric anaesthesia principles and decision-making, hands-on training of practical skills in a safe, supportive environment, with clinical scenarios and realistic simulations to build confidence and competence. Learn from experienced clinicians who are passionate about education.
