Anaesthetic Novice Knowledge and Skills Course 2025

Comprehensive 5-day weekly course mapped to 2021 RCoA curriculum to support your attainment of the Initial Assessment of Competency.

Course dates 2025:
Friday 8th August
Monday 11th August
Wednesday 20th August
Tuesday 26th August 

Simulation date - Wednesday 12th November

Course Fees: Free for HEE trainees working towards IAC. Please note, funding is claimed on your behalf. Non attendance without notice will incur a charge of up to £125.

£125 for non current-HEE trainees and clinical fellows. 

Course Format: 4 days of small group talks and workshops (once a week), Simulation morning in November - exact dates TBC.

Eligibility: All anaesthetic / ACCS / complimentary specialty trainees who are working towards achieving their IAC.
