NI Transfusion Committee November 2024 Conference

A one-day conference for Doctors, Nurses, Biomedical Scientists & Haemovigilance Practitioners. 

Friday 15th November 2024 

Hilton Hotel, Belfast

• Infected Blood - Experiences from other countries
• Consent in transfusion 
• Digitalisation - update on Encompass, LIMS and BPaT
• Auditing, dashboards and reporting in Encompass
• Educational digitalisation
• Should we give O Positive to O Negative Patients
• Paediatric and Neonatal transfusion challenges

Poster viewing also available throughout the day

Posters: Original audit, research or quality improvement projects within both clinical and laboratory based transfusion practice or patient blood management will be considered for poster presentation at this conference.
