A one-day workshop aimed at anaesthetists in training or anyone keen to improve or refresh their skills in managing the difficult airway.  The day will include some lectures and practical workshops covering a range of topics including: the paediatric airway; the shared airway; tracheostomy issues; fibreoptic scopes, airway exchange catheters and staged extubation techniques; videolaryngoscopy; front of neck access; simulated scenarios and discussion of difficult cases including contributing human factors. The workshop attracts 5 CPD points and is approved by DAS.
