To enable staff to safely manage and care for patients undergoing procedures under moderate se-dation.
This includes the administration of sedatory drugs, pre-assessment of the patients, preparation of the environment, monitoring of the patients under sedation, recovery of patients and coping with adverse events related to sedation.
