Glasgow and West of Scotland Society of Anaesthetists proudly present the Consultant Spring Meeting 2026.
Following on from the success of the previous meeting in February this year, we will again be providing a range of engaging talks for Anaesthetists in training of all levels covering a spectrum of topics in Anaesthesia and its sub-specialty interests. Previous talks have included topics such as A.I. in healthcare, e-rostering, processed EEG, altitude research and its potential impact on critical care, portfolio pathways and recruitment, and knife violence and its effects on society.
Speakers will be confirmed in the coming weeks, with a full programme issued approximately one month prior to the meeting.
There will be tea/coffee/water available throughout the day, with breakfast pastries on arrival, and a two-course lunch.
The meeting will be held on February 27th 2026 at the Studio in central Glasgow, book now and request study leave to avoid disappointment!!
