A one-day programme of expert talks in Anaesthesia and Critical Care — from cardiac and paediatric anaesthesia to airway trauma, global health, geriatric care, AI in prehabilitation, and financial wellbeing for resident doctors.
The Glasgow and West of Scotland Society of Anaesthetists Annual Residents’ Meeting, held in collaboration with the Glasgow Anaesthetic Research Club, invites you to a stimulating day of learning, discussion, and networking.
Join us for a programme of expert talks from leading speakers both locally and further afield, covering a wide range of topics in Anaesthesia and Critical Care. This is a meeting is designed to support your curriculum needs while also inspiring your personal and professional development.
Programme highlights include:
- Anaesthetising the cardiac patient outside the GJNH
- Paediatric cardiac anaesthesia made easy (or at least easier!)
- Managing airway trauma inside and outside the hospital
- International anaesthesia partnerships and ethical global health
- Improving outcomes for our geriatric patients
- AI-driven apps to enhance prehabilitation services
- Demystifying pensions, savings, and earnings for resident doctors
