This multidisciplinary advanced airway workshop provides intensive practical tuitions with supraglottic airway devices, videolaryngoscopes, awake tracheal intubation, surgical and needle cricothyrotomy on animal models and manikins, remote and rural medicine airway-technical skills practised by simulation scenarios on simulation models for adult and paediatric difficult airway. There will be 4 lectures, interactive discussions and over 4 hours of practical hands-on workshop training provided by national and international workshop faculty. Dr Gray’s International Airway Day in Elgin is promoting multi-professional training opportunities in the remote local communities in the North of Scotland.
