The Challenging Airway Course celebrates its 20th anniversary year in 2022. Consultant Anaesthetists, Specialty Doctors and Senior (i.e. 2nd on-call) Specialty Registrars are welcome to apply to the Winter course. This will be back to the familiar face-to-face course format (within updated covid-safe regulations).
As ever, the course content provides a mixture of updated lectures from expert NI consultants in the field of airway management and small group workstations. Techniques discussed in the RCoA higher and advanced airway curricula, as well as practical strategies required of consultants providing cover for emergency anaesthetics, are the main focus. The course is accredited by the RCoA for 5 external CPD points.
