Registration will begin at 8.30am and run until 5pm. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. The day will include: - Bedside ultrasound techniques for paediatric emergencies - Hands-on experience scanning with live models - Interpretation of POCUS findings in acute settings. - Small group teaching with expert faculty Topics covered are: - Cardiac POCUS - Lung POCUS - Abdomen POCUS - Vascular Access Please see the attached timetable below

This intensive, one-day, in-person course is dedicated to point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) applications in paediatric acute and critical care. Point-of-care ultrasound is the bedside use of ultrasound to answer a specific diagnostic questions, assist with a procedure or track clinical progression.

The course is addressed at health professionals working in acute paediatrics, paediatric critical care and high dependency.
