Autumn SETSA Meeting Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells Hospitals

The autumn meeting for the South East Thames Society of Anaesthesia . Exciting one day meeting with topical and relevant content ( see program attached ). In addition to a full program of lectures, there are workshops : ultrasound guided blocks of upper & lower limb given by enthusiasts in their field & an emergency airway workshop run by our Simulation Faculty and a difficult airway station run by specialists from Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead. In addition there will be a breakout seminar on CPEX lead by our expert in the region. Trainee presentations are welcomed , a chance to present at a regional meeting & a prize for the best presentation. Awarded 5 CPD points by the RCOA . Lunch & afternoon tea & scones included! ​

Please can trainees send abstract submissions for poster & oral presentations directly to the course organiser at katestannard@nhs.net no later than 8th October. A shortlist will be sent out that week in time for trainees to prepare selected presentations for the meeting. Prizes will be awarded on the day.

The meeting is taking place at the Education Centre at Maidstone Hospital (ME16 9QQ) which is conveniently situated, a short walk from Barming Station ( from Victoria & London Bridge ) & by car easily accessed from M25, M20 & M2.
