2 days of Regional anaesthesia learning experience from experts in the field from across the UK and Europe. NUSGRA course is unique to the rest having been 1st to start using fresh frozen cadavers in RA teaching for USG scanning and needling - which enhances delegate learning experience and putting into practice what they have learnt straight into practice on cadavers. Faculty are a great boon to delegates, as with come with great experience , easily approachable and share excellent tips to aid in delegate clinical practice too.

20th Newcastle Ultrasound Guided Regional Anaesthesia (NUSGRA) Cadaver Course

  1. First of its kind in UK started over 15 years ago - offering ultrasound guided regional anaesthesia with cadaver workshops - 19th one with excellent delegate/ faculty feedback.
  2. Aimed at offering basic to advanced Regional Anaesthesia learning (no prior experience in RA is essential) for delegates of any grade (FY to Cons.)
  3. Programme delivered to maximise delegate confidence in performing basic to advanced regional  blocks
  4. Lectures (interactive) from expert UK/international faculty - covering PLAN A BLOCKS & Beyond based on RCOA Curriculum
  5. Surgical Anatomy demonstration on cadaveric prosections to enhance learning.
  6. Ultrasound scanning and sono-anatomy practice on live models
  7. Real-time experience with performance of regional blocks by course delegates on Cadavers
  8. 2:1 delegate to faculty ratio with interactive learning experience
  9. Focus on procedural based learning experience for delegates with top tips from expert faculty
  10. RCOA, RA-UK Approved and ESRA recognised for ESRA- DRA Part II exam (6 USG Points; 5 Cadaveric points & 2 other points )
