Dr Gray's Airway Day is the REMOTE AND RURAL ADVANCED AIRWAY WORKSHOP in Elgin in the North of Scotland that is primarily designed for a broad range of multidisciplinary teams of healthcare providers, including junior doctors in training of various specialties, remote and rural general practitioners, anaesthetic and emergency medicine doctors and nurses from the whole UK who are wishing to refresh and update their technical skills in the advanced airway management in the remote and rural settings.
This Multidisciplinary Remote and Rural Advanced Airway Workshop provides intensive practical tuitions with supraglottic airway devices, videolaryngoscopes, awake tracheal intubation, surgical cricothyrotomy on animal models and manikins, remote and rural medicine airway-technical skills practised by simulation scenarios on simulation models for adult and paediatric difficult airway. There will be 4 lectures, interactive discussions and over 4 hours of practical hands-on workshops with teaching provided by national and international airway workshop faculty. Dr Gray’s International Airway Day in Elgin is promoting multi-professional training opportunities in the remote local communities in the North of Scotland.
